I got a postcard in the mail this afternoon advising that the 3rd. Volume of Pete's book is now available.  Price is $55.00 post paid.

"The new book is over 259 pgs, pictures over 1200 different wrenches, has the history of 239 new companies, as well as corrections to entries in the first two volumes.

This book also comes with a supplement that has over 6000 part numbers matched to the company that issued the wrench as well as an updated price guide."

I think the price guide alone would probably be worth the cost.

I have been thinking about buying one of Rathbone's books. Which one should I buy first?

John,
They are a (now)   three-part whole; if you have none buy all three  -- unless you're lucky enough to find the earlier vols. "2nd hand" somewhere.

John, Stan is right...buy all three if you can justify it.  Current price for all three together is $155.00 which includes the postage.  They are good books.
