Thick primitive wrenches
« on: October 28, 2013, 08:14:41 PM »
Picked these up at a yard sale.  Thought they were unique as they are 1/2 inch thick and very primitive looking.  Would they have been blacksmith made?  Any ideas on use?

They are pretty old, but the top one looks to have been cast.  The other was possibly stamped.   Usage?  When they have multiple jaws, are often some type of valve wrench.    Gas, water, air, RR?

With their shape and age these are most likely farm implement wrenchs. Of which I'm a collector of. Are these up for sale or swap?
