I saw this listing on eBay tonight. 4 inch crescent style wrench collection 100+ pieces

Some interesting ones shown in the pictures but out of my price range.

Quite a collection, but overpriced in my opinion.

That is around 30.00 per wrench.  The most I ever got for one was 60.00 for an early B & C and around 100.00 for a Red Devil.

I know a guy who has a collection of over 500 4 inch and 150+ double ended.  He talks about selling them whenever I see him, but I don't think he ever will.  Both of those type sell well, but it would take forever to get your money back if you bought that many.

I thought I was doing well with my dozen or so.  I try and pick them up whenever I see them, and think about $8 was the highest I've paid.

Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Trying to sell them all at once limits his number of buyers big time.  Everyone that has six large to spend on wrenches today raise your hand. OK, now everyone that could spend twenty bucks on wrenches today, raise your hand............Hmmmmm.

Personal strengths vary from man to man. One is a gifted collector, another is a sales genius.  Or, perhaps, thinking that "I can always sell my collection and get my money back, plus some" propels most collectors to spend the time and money they do.

Yeah, after I croak, if my wife is able to get more than 25% of what I paid for my collection I'll be surprised.
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.
