Springfield stud puller maybe
« on: January 13, 2014, 06:46:56 PM »
Cold weather keeps me in cellar, so I am diiging thru things.

I think this might be a tool for pulling or pushing studs into old car axles or brake drums.

one side says

 Drop forged

"springfield"

pat pending

inside

500B

and a B in a pentangle

Is my use guess correct?

and who  is the maker?

New member...sorry... but pulling up an old post.  "Skip"  Did you happen to find the rest of your puller?  I picked up a puller recently, but the puller is a leg short.  Any chance you still have the leg?

Thanks
