Missouri Finds Part 1
« on: March 24, 2014, 11:46:55 AM »
Had a good trip down to the Missouri Whitewater Races and managed to pick up some new and used goodies along the way.  The photos have both stuff from the trip and some items from a neighbor that is cleaning out his garage and basement .

Top row:  Firestone 1/2" drive socket, several misc. Snap On sockets,An Indestro swivel, an "Allstate" Compression Tester, and the Plomb LA 1/4" socket box.

Middle Row: "Tire Carrier:" Wrench, Wizard tappet wrench,  Proto DOE offset  Aircraft hydraulic wrench, Herbrand DBE with some sort of copper covering on it, Blackhawk 1/2" Ratchet, Kutto linoleum knife, Proto 706 adjustable  ,and Bonney A702K(pristine condition).

Bottom:  Walden TruArc snap ring pliers, no name spring loaded forceps, no name right angle pliers, Gripsall(or something like that) vise grip clone, Armstrong line wrench, Drew  offset DOE, a Cee Tee piers wth the arms parallel(never seen one like it before), and a Wards Eclipse auto wrench.

Second photo has all the new Proto stuff I bought down there.  After 45 minutes of digging, I'd hit my limit.

Some more to come eventually.

Good haul

Those Armstrong line wrenches sure are nice. Had a few of a different size a while back.

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

Nice! You're lucky. If my neighbor cleaned out their garage and basement I'd just end up with a bunch of junk.
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

Both!!  The hands can only dig through just so many stapled up poly bags and they quit.  soehow I didn't get the photo shoot done of the other tools.  Scored a real decent Billings sspud wrench in a really odd 1 19/64ths size for $5 and 3 Proto rats, ad a really old pair of vise grips that had no model number on them, but the patent date of like April of 1942 on them......then there was the new stuff...

Let me see a pic of the handle knurling (if any) on the parrot head pliers.
My two pairs don't have any names on them but I think I've narrowed it down to JP Danielson.
very handy pliers, by the way.

Nice A-702K!  Looks alot like mine! ha
