HOTCHKISS found its way home
« on: May 26, 2014, 08:12:03 AM »
I recently sold my Hotchkiss wrench to the Sharon CT Historical Society.  I think they might unveil it today at their 275th Bday Celebration.  Attached are a few pics.

Glad to see it found a good home. As you know the inventor had an interesting life.

I posted it on the bay and they contacted me.  They had been searching for one for @20 years, and were real excited.  It's so cool that one of my finds now resides in a small museum to be shared with others.

Here's a link to the history of Hotchkiss from the SHS website.

Really cool to add to a museum collection. I have a few pieces I have donated to our local museum.
