Any chance you will need to go over there anytime soon?
I'd call the guy, make sure he has some character (easy enough to find out in a few minutes on the phone),
then buy it,  then pick it up when I could.
Paypal is wonderful for this kind of thing. Or snail mail him a check. It'll be there tomorrow. 
   
This is a totally outstanding deal. You could sell it for 3 or 4 times this much on Ebay, if you needed to.

I wasn't going to but I messaged him, couldn't resist. I wont be able to get it till mid next week if he responds.
