Didn't work, Bird. Back to Photobucket. Email it to yourself or upload to PB with your phone.

Is there a way to upload from phone to photobucket?  Or from email to photobucket. OK, back to watching tutorials on line
cheers,
bird.

You can (right click) on a pic and a box will come up with different choices,
click on (save as is) and that pic will go into your pics folder,
then just upload to photobucket. Works for me.

Please excuse me, but I missed this as I was reviewing old posts - I posted the following procedure in the "sticky" section but I will repeat it here:

A simple, if not exactly elegant, way to capture and upload pics from an Iphone:

1. Click on the Camera Roll icon on your Iphone and select the image.

2. Tap on the image to reveal the selection bar at the bottom of the screen.

3. Click on the the rectangular box with the up arrow to reveal the image destination selection screen.

4. Select "Mail" - select your-email  name (on your home computer) from your contact list

5. Send the pic to yourself (recommend medium size for speed of delivery - but you can use larger size if you wish).

6. Open your e-mail program on your home computer - click on message - right click on image and save it in your regular pic folder

7. Manipulate image as desired (irfanview is great) and upload it to the Forum in the usual way.

Of course you can use the above procedure to save any of your Iphone images on your home computer.

I do like to crop out extraneous background using Irfanview and resize the pics to 500 pixels wide before uploading them to the Forum. I also like to center them in the Forum viewing pane. Here are some example pics from my Iphone:

Disston No. 4 back saw with 8" plate

Record No.5 jack plane

Rabone "blindman's" folding boxwood rule

Edward Preston patent iron spoke shave

North Bros. "YANKEE" Radio Tools display stand

North Bros. "YANKEE" No. 106 Radio Tool Set

Great tools and great pictures!
Thanks, Papaw. Although the process might seem ungainly, I find that I can take a pic on my Iphone, upload it to my home computer via e-mail, save it to my image folder, manipulate it via irfanview and upload it to the forum - all in about 15 minutes.

Thanks. You know I can take better pictures (easier too) with my Iphone than I can with the dedicated camera I purchased for several hundred dollars a couple of years ago - it now resides in my desk drawer gathering dust.
