Beautiful piece! It looks terrific in the frame.

What the heck is it? 'scuse my ignorance, but it looks like a medieval weapon for beheading very small knights.

Actually that piece WAS a hot stick limb trimmer from a power company . It bolted on the end of a twenty foot pole to trim branches around a energized electric in the old days, it is one of a kind now thanks to brian who forges the part an installed a handle   bob w.

THANKS!

It certainly is a magnificent display piece.  I guess it falls into a "Phantom tool" category. Kinda like a '50 Ford Roadster pickup. Ford never made one, but it looks like it would if they had, Great work!

Be fun to be around fifty years from now when that gets found in a flea market and the Whatsit column tries to figure out what it's for.

It more than likely would find its way into a museum collection of what the heck were they thinking... LOL
