That's why you have to have two of these: one to use, and one stashed in a safe deposit box.  Dang but it's pretty!

Not mine, I've forgotten where I saw the story on them but we can say he is a very good Blacksmith!  I became friends with Uri Hofi on FB and he make lot of interesting things, tools and art.  If these shoulder weren't so bad I'd be  playing with fire, of course my lack of the art gene would take over. The last recent smithy project was to smooth the wind shield on a small forge, try out a diy rubber faced dolly. 18 gauge but small dings, dents and bends 3 days I didn't sleep worth a damn, cause of the shoulder pain. I sure wish I could find a good shoulder replacement joint not one for a little old lady who wants to wave at the grandkids.  10 pound limit is not going to work with me.

5# hammer? Thats heavier than most of my anvils!  Thats another good reason to stay away from base metals, well, two really.  Heavy hammers and aforementioned sore shoulders!

I'm going to make a post with my bench hammers poste haste. Then you all can see some manageable hammers.....
