I only have the picture as the shop owner kept it for his wall collection. I haven't seen an aluminum adjustable before. It looks like just about any other but the weight of it gets your attention as soon as you pick it up. I wasn't able to compare, but it felt like about 1/3 the usual weight. Sorry 'bout the oversize picture - new image software I haven't mastered yet.

That's cool.
I've never seen one of those before but I've seen quite a number of their aluminum pipe wrenches.

For light weight ( but pricey ) -- how about a set of titanium box & OE combinations:

Start adding up going down the column and swallow hard when you get to the 46mm (roughly  1 3/4" )

Non-magnetic tools are needed if you work high current busbars, eg at an aluminum potline.

MRI tools must be non-magnetic also. From the site above shown by mcvwnews, a titanium 1/4" ratchet for $830. Made in Spain. I looked for a shot of the other side of it but didn't see one. Maybe one of you guys that has one at home can put up a shot of the other side :)

There is a Schick alligator wrench on the bay now.  First I've seen.

I've had a Schick aluminum pipe wrench but never any other tools. I believe they were made for the military during ww2.

The Schick aluminum crescent wrenches are relatively uncommon, but I have sizes 6, 8, 10 and 12 in my collection.  Now for a rare one I have a Schick 8 inch of beryllium and have never seen another in any size.

Welcome coolford!

We'd love to see some photos of that collection!

welcome Coolford;  did you see the aluminum Schick  strap wrench on ebay today ?

Chillylulu

MRI's are ubiquitous. NMR tenants scare you with their threats if you bring something near their equipment. It makes $800  for a tool seem reasonable.

Strap wrench seems like it will sell well.  Also have seen a 24" and 36" pipe wrench listed within the last few days on Ebay.
