These sockets are very heavy walled and 6 point.  They fit several different socket sets from the 20's I'm trying to complete.

You might want to post up a example picture of the exact type for reference???    You might be looking for the older "Steel Stamped" sockets or early plated or Chrome plated versions-they made several different versions and a picture will clarify the question!!!

Looking for USA made ratchets-all sizes-drives and lengths  also S-K SuperKrome wrenches ditto.  Like to trade vs buy run it past me-nothing is cut in stone!

I haven't figured out the picture sizing thing yet.  Don't have that problem with garage gazette.  The sockets I need are not the 6 point pressed steel, but the 6 point heavy sockets with the nearly 1/4 inch wall.

I have about 15-20 various pressed steel sockets like that. If I knew exactly what you are after, I may be able to help.

Are they like the early Mossberg sockets? Or Ray sockets?

I also have an extension and I think a swivel extension in that box, I believe.

My pictures will not upload as they appear to be too big??  When I get it figured out I will post this again.

Microsoft has a free software called image resizer.  Work pretty slick.  You can download from Microsoft Power Toys.

Always looking for Stanley planes and parts, Mossberg and Plomb wrenches.

I use the paint program to resize my pictures. Just open with paint. Hit resize. Backspace out 100; add 20 and save.

I don't think he's looking for pressed steel sockets. These might be the ones he's after (picture from AA)

Eddie----Those are exactly the kind of sockets I'm looking for and each of them have numbers.  In hex sockets I need No's 216, 218, 230, 232 and 236.  In square sockets I need No's 112, 114, 116, 118, 122, 132, 136 and 140.  These belong in a No. 26 Walden socket set in a Chestnut box.

Northwoods

I have the 218 if you still need it.
On the other hand, why don't you just send me the box and I'll fill out the set.   http://www.papawswrench.com/vboard/Smileys/popos/grin.gif
Seriously, PM me if you want.

Actually those pictured were Mossberg stamped steel sockets--Walden had that type also-they came in wooden boxed sets--I either sold or traded the Waldens that I had and they were not plumbing type sockets-they did have the thru holes in them for the crossbar attachment as a breaker bar!   Picture attached is showing what I consider as plumbing sockets for plumbing seat nuts, although they also resemble a stamped spark plug socket and I am sure that a lot of people use them for that purpose(I.E. Lawnmower etc.)...........Cranky
