Well I think that was the name of the place and I think it was in Constantia, Rt 49 on the north side of Oneida Lake.
The lady at the counter said "How's both for a dollar sound?".  Good!  She said she likes to see old tools get used again.
Top: K-D tool  Bottom:  Unknown driver

So what is the K-D? There's no number - just "MADE BY K-D MFG. CO." and on the other handle it reads "UNDUE PRESSURE DEFORMS TUBING PAT. PENDING". Next to the cutter wheels it says "KEEP OILED".  Some type of brake tool?
The hex driver (I could not pass it up) has no name on it anywhere and none on the sockets either.  The screwdriver bit comes apart in three pieces.  The hex shaft is hollow which apparently led to some distortion.

That driver looks a lot like the form of the Yankee 41y spiral driver I have. Maybe it is Stanley/Yankee/North Bros.?

Some odd pieces you have there. I'll guess the plier tool is for tubing, looks like you could flare
on the ends if you had a die of some sort. Curious to hear the answer.

That driver looks more Goodell-Pratt than North Bros. to me; but more likely some other brand altogether.  I'll need to look; seems to me I've got a similar-looking tool in my shop.

K-D's still in business, but doesn't seem to have a website.  You could stop in to your local auto parts store, find a K-D product, and see if there's company contact information on the package; and then ask them.  Clearly, it has something to do with tubing.  As you probably know, K-D is mainly automotive, so this could be brake-related, or ??

Not a bad price, 50 cents each.

That was my first thought on that one too papaw but it does have a sorta Goodell look to it.

I have two of those K-D pliers but am unsure of use. First impression was for cutting brake line tubing but couldn't think of a use for the front of the pliers along that line. After pondering awhile
the other idea i had was for hoses the front to take off the clamp and the cutter wheels to cut hose.
Constructive criticism  welcome.

A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.

I believe the KD tool is for bending and cutting stiff wire, like a hood release or choke  or throttle  cable.

But I have been wrong before

Thanks Bus!  After searching last night and finding nothing, I did realize they resembled hose clamp pliers ( Corbin clamps?) but K-D makes another tool just for those.

Yeah Corbin hose clamps. They feel real good when they slip off the pliers and hit you in the face.

Well, that won't be a problem.  At least for a while, if ever.... I managed to drop the darn things in the snow somewhere at home or here at work...Arrrghhh!.   I tossed through the snow in the walkways at home and here at work to no avail.   They'll probably turn up in April all flat and rusty.
