I picked up a Wakefield adjustble wrench the other day.  I was wondering if anyone had any info on this piece.

it measures nine inches long.

Ime having a hard time decifering were its from. I know Worcester Mass is were similar ones are made but the town is not completly readable.

I can deffintily read Mass USA

The #19 with that patent should say also Worcester on it.

On other things Wakefield's name is somewhat variable, CE Wakefield, Wakefield Wrench, Wakefield, Wakefield Wizard'....
As far as I know, always in Worcester tho...

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Need a picture so we can tell if it's a #9 or a #19, if it's a Wizard.

I was too hasty.  #19 is a Wizard.  Patented in November, 1922 -- November 14 if memory serves.

That's the one!  Notice the flares that protect the screw adjustment.  The No. 9 didn't have those.
Mine doesn't have the patent date -- it's marked patent pending in the US and other countries.
