Nice. We (the Kiwanis Thrift Sale) hope to get a little more than $3. We'll see.
I priced them provisionally at $15 ea, on the basis that the market is pretty small,
but comparable new Chinese-made wrenches at TSC would fetch $20 each
(didn't check the prices at Harbor Freight etc.). We'll see if anyone bites.
I am of course tempted to buy them myself, but am beginning to learn
to resist these impulses. I try to check out the Habitat ReStore once a week
if I can, sometimes find a bunch of rusty gems cheap -- and sometimes
clean them up and re-donate them to Kiwanis in order to keep our tool
aisle fresh and appealing. In theory, this is why I took on this job -- to give
me the satisfaction of finding the occasional treasure without necessarily
having to hold onto it. Verdict on this experiment is still open.
