Please help identify vise maker
« on: February 22, 2016, 03:55:25 PM »
Hi, I recently purchased a heavy-duty vise that has a maker's mark on one of the jaws.  It also is stamped "No327" on top of the front jaw.  This is a unique vise in that the jaw opposite the handle is the one that moves in and out.  This appears to be designed to  keep the clamped object on top of the bench, instead of hanging over the edge.  The base is very wide and robust.  Can anyone help to identify the maker please?  (Please click on the image for larger size).  Thank you. . .

Gee, that looks tricky.  I might be able to identify it upon close examination.  I'll send you my address

A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.

Excellent, thanks for the post; it was bugging me that I didn't know the maker.  I really appreciate it.
