As Rusty said. they may be the things that keep the buyer from trying to haggle you down on the total. Throw them in if he balks at your price.

Based on what I saw in the initial pictures, you have a LONG way to go with this liquidation.  $2800 for the batch currently on the block, even including a portaband and holesaws which are generally throwaway items, you have a fair price.
You have the option of asking $3000- and one of three things will happen, your buyer may walk, or he may up.  He may also say $2500 or 2900.  For the sake of a couple hundred potential dollars you risk future sales.  The way you're selling generally brings the most dollars when buyers tell other buyers about the sale.  You tend to get a better quality buyer with cash, and less thieves.

When you go to Craigslist selling you attract thieves by the truckload in my experience.

Your first post stated "he Offered" if the guy is interested in the lot and that was his first offer then the first counter offer I would make would be $3,000.00. The next thing I would expect him to say is ok OR $2,900.00. You can always go back and accept his first offer. You can't just take the first offer unless he is a friend then it is a different story, friendship has its priviledges. You have to haggle it is part of the sale.

Thanks everyone for replying to my posts, he is a friend and we have decided to take the $2800.
