Can't Identify a Couple 4" Adjustables

I can't seem to figure out who made these. Any help is appreciated.

The first one I though might be Proto but the recess panel doesn't look like the other Proto I have.







The other side.



This one had a name on it but it's now obscured more than I can read. This one has a 12 point opening for a hang hole. I can make out Betr-Grip on the reverse side.

4004 is a Challenger 4" Crescent type number.

Thanks jimwrench. I was not familiar with J P Danielson but AA has a writeup on this one. If I read the article correctly this wrench looks to be from the early 40's.

Thanks Bus. I thought the number seemed familiar but wasn't sure if it was something I'd seen or just thought I'd seen. I'm at that age where that happens.
