Contrived socket driver

I bought this driver for a buck in a country store.  The hex shaft originally did not have a ball/spring retainer and it came with some odd looking screwdriver bits.  I decided to use my stepdads old Sears hex driver kit to make this driver more useful.  I drove out the hex shaft and inserted the Sears hex shaft after pulling it out of its plastic handle.  The sockets store inside the handle.  The kit is missing one socket - the 3/8".  Does anyone have one of these 3/8" sockets??
