Mfr. I.D. of this pipe wrench?

Hey all. Just curious who made this. Good to have around. It saved me once in an emergency shutoff situation.

The pictures aren't great, can take some better ones in the daylight if that helps.

This is 16" long when closed.

The jaws open to about 2-1/8" with the screw nut, and the cool feature is they grab with that extra bite like pliers when the handles are squeezed.

There are no visible names, numbers or markings.

Thanks for the research help Mike. That is the closest thing I have seen. It looks like an even more interesting spin on this wrench. If he's the guy, it was invented just 3-1/2 hours from here.
