Bought some random wrenches not sure where I would use them. Turns out they work great on a late 1970's bicycle I picked up with standard and metric nuts.

A 6" adjustable is the perfect size for a bike tool kit.  I have a bag very similar to yours but it's hanging from the handlebar.

Got the bag from Rivendell bikes a few years back...it has a separate pocket inside that will work great to hold a couple of tools. The 6" adjustable should work for any adjustments that should arise. The bike looks like it was hardly ever ridden..put new tubes and tires on it and had to use a propane torch lightly on the chain which had no rust but had many old grease stiffened links...the heat loosened them up.I have a modern mountain bike but I'm really looking forward to getting out on this bike...I'm pretty tall and the size is perfect.Lucky find at a antique/vintage shop and figured $200.00 was fair and the guy that runs it is a good guy.The brand is Mercury..Made in Canada. No info online except a few similar models that have been offered for sale over the years so a bit of a mystery...maybe made for a specific Dept store back in the day. It's put together pretty strong with quality components..5 speed.Cheers.

"Had my money
I tell you what I'd do
I would go downtown
Buy a Mercury or two
Cause I'm crazy 'bout a Mercury
Cruise up and down this road
Up and down this road
I'm goin' to buy me a Mercury
And I'll cruise up and down this road"

Yeah I came across those but too old and British...I think mine probably has a Raleigh Canada or maybe CCM frame and it was simply branded for a bike shop or sporting goods store.Maybe when I ride it someone might give me some info. Thanks
