My latest acquisition, a Craft Quick Adjust like shown in Schulz #488. The description in Schulz has it misspelled. Marked Craft Patd inside a diamond. Didn't find a patent yet.

Interesting adjust mechanism. I've only seen the ones that were threaded on the one leg.
A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.

 Lewii2,

around what years would you estimate that wrench to be from ?

I'll have to check Copes again but I believe Craftsman started to make the roller style pipe wrench around 1907 so I'm guessing early 1900's.

Here's the closest I could come to a patent for that type of mechanism.

I see very few of the twisted handle wrenches, much less a quick adjust type. Very nice!

Here are a couple that are close:

But I have a feeling the patent picture will show the twisted mechanism.  After all, that's the mechanism upon which the quick adjust depends.

Yes that one is in great shape Les. Its original owner must have owned a hammer, too
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.
