Has anyone else noticed that the prices of Plomb tool has more than doubled on Ebay in the last six months?

Hello, t115145. Are you talking about asking prices, or items that have sold? I had a group  of Plomb tools on ebay a while ago, and I did not get a bid. Regards, Lou

I also have had little success with some Plomb tools.

Northwoods

I bought my last one, a 1230 Los Angeles from 1938, for $2.00 per pound at the St Helens Oregon Restore. A beautiful 15/16" combo. Love it!

The ORIGINAL Northwoods.

I'm just looking at the asking prices, especially the pebbles.  I've found several at the flea market for a dollar or so as you say.  But a set of combination wrenches used to be about $50, now they're asking $100 or more.  I was just curious to see if anyone else noticed.

Best wishes to all, have a successful summer.

Remember, asking price is not a true idea of the sales value.

I found a PROTO Los Angeles 11/16"-3/4" open ended at SA recently that had the pebbled numbers so I figured it was an early transitional one...$1.99 or so...here's the "Sold Listings" for Plomb from ebay...pretty good demand if you can find them cheap.
