Marsh #100 picture frame machine

Yesterday, I got a Marsh full bore framing machine from member John K!  Everything in good order.  I cleaned it a bit and it's a joy to use.  Well, it will be when I build a stand for it, but everything works smoothly and very quickly.  Cast into the base is "Pat. Jan. 8 '07."  Even the saw guides are there, in case I want to be really primitive and use a back saw.  I like older tools, and I prefer this to one of the Stanleys.  It just doesn't get much better.

After I missed getting one on eBay, John wrote me that he had one.  This is one of the things I really like about Tool Talk -- the people here are the best.
