Who made/supplied Norvell-Shapleigh braces in the 1901-1918 time frame?

 Brace has this marked on chuck - top line - BLUE DIAMOND, middle line - NORVELL-SHAPLEIGH HARDWARE CO., bottom line - ST. LOUIS,  MO. Stamped on frame just below pad - BD100. Photos 5 & 6 show something stamped on frame but I was unable to make out. I found company history on the web but nothing about suppliers; BLUE DIAMOND was one of their trademarks. Brace to me has some MILLERS FALLS looks about it, if that was the supplier what model was it based on? TIA for your help.

It looks a little like a P, S, & W(Pexto). Look at the link below and you'll probably find it.

I think Shapliegh hardware ultimately morphed into True Value, but don't hold me to that.
