Henry Troemner mold
« on: September 23, 2017, 06:13:44 PM »
I picked this mold up yesterday at a garage sale. It looks like a bullet mold , but it would have to be a huge  bullet. I googled the name - Henry Troemner maker Philadelphia and it comes up as a scale maker. Could this be a scale weight mold ??  Any ideas ?

The handle shape to me looks 19th century.   A bullet mould, maybe,  how big would it be?   Around the civil war bullets were used up to 74 caliber.   That would be nearly 3/4 of an inch in diameter.

Do what I do. Wait til the Mrs. leaves and get out one of her best Revere Ware sauce pans and pop a few wheel weights off the car and put the burner on high. Melt them suckers down and cast your bullets using her late mothers pot holder to hold on to the dirty bullet mold. THIS IS MRS. EVILDR235. Hello, Evildr235. You need to put some bubble wrap on the floor in the doorway of the computer room. Cheap early warning device, might save you a fourth push down the stairs!!!!!!!

Don't need any bubble wrap on the floor. Most of the time it is covered with kitties who scream when you step on them. We have one who we found as a baby living in our backyard.  We are kitty sitting for two for my daughter. Owwwwwwwwwwwww, Honey I got to pee again. I need my Globemaster bed pan.
