Here is a hammer I need info on

I have this tool that I need to ID so it can be sold properly. No maker's marks that I can find.

Pretty interesting device.  I can't imagine it was fun, stopping in 20 degree weather to clean the snow from your horse's hoof.

Also left hand piece in #794 in ""Antique & Unusual Wrenches" -- so maybe it worked with some brand of horseshoe calks?

And now you know - I bet it's a great relief, knowing how easy it will be to clean the snow of your horse's hoofs now, when you get heavy snows down there in southern California.

I hope you've escaped the fires - can't tell from the internet if they're burning in your area.  Sure has been a horrible fire year.
