A. Girard Tool Co.
« on: February 21, 2018, 11:36:06 AM »
Looking for a answer on what this tool was designed and used for--AA shows monkey wrench--not much else to go by other than the picture.   Looks to be heat treated and the same configeration on both ends.   I thought it might be a adjustment wrench for early A or T's???   Anyone have any ideas or have one?

Looking for USA made ratchets-all sizes-drives and lengths  also S-K SuperKrome wrenches ditto.  Like to trade vs buy run it past me-nothing is cut in stone!

I don't see a wrench. Are you sure you are reading the AA section correctly?

It's a tates - and everyone knows, he who has a tates is lost, so it's no wonder you're confused.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion-AA only has a listing for a monkey wrench-not what I sent in the picture.   Could not locate any other info via google or otherwise??   If they started the company in the late 1800's they must have been short lived or consumed by others?

Are we talking about Girard Wrench Mfg. Co.?  Never heard of, nor can I find any evidence of, an A. Girard Tool Co.

Here's the TA page on Girard: https://toolarchives.com/node/4414
