You guys need to check out the Cleveland CL for vises. There are quite a few collector / hoarders.

The base is probably filled with sand? With a vise that size cantilevered to that extent the base has to be really heavy. 300 lbs?
You might say I have a tool collecting problem....

I bet there is closer to 500 lbs of steel in the base.  And if filled with sand, which would be a good idea to dampening the "ringing" from the hollow drum, add another 350 lbs for the sand. 

My guess anyways.
