Hello, I saw a few things in the ad that I wanted, but the owner would not separate. So I bought the whole pile. There are a few pieces I haven't figured out yet, I will post later. Regards, Lou

Still looks like a nice collection of..."stuff".

Nice score. That should keep you busy for a day or two. I just bought a drill like in your picture. Mine has a Craftsman decal on it, but sadly all the bits in the handle are gone. Sometimes I buy drills just to get the bits to complete a set.

I'm looking at your pictures and drooling all over my desk. That looks to me like a real nice bunch of vintage tools. That might even earn you a " YOU SUCK'' award. I'm jealous. BEST REGARDS. Jim.

I just checked awhile ago and I have 2 drills like yours.

?

Hello, Evidr235. You have a good eye, that is a Craftsman Hand Drill, also no bits in the handle. The Pistol Grip Spiral Ratchet Screwdriver is a Craftsman, ssrewdriver tips stored in the butt end of the handle. Regards, Lou

Very nice haul, especially the Bonney tappet wrench set, and the perfect handle ball pein hammer.

Yeah, those orange and black CV labels on the Bonney tappets jumped right out at me.

I find hand crank drills and push drills all the times. Finding good bits can be a problem. New ones are costly and probably not as good as the old ones.

Thanks for the award, and there is a good back story! I agreed to the price that was asked, paid the man, and was starting to put everything in boxes. When I reached for the Millers Falls , he said, "That is not included in the price". My response was, "That was my main reason for agreeing to the price". I asked if he would throw it in, as I already had half of the stuff packed. He reached in his wallet and started to give me back the money!! I had to pay the additional price for the Millers Falls, I did not want to waste any more of his time, or mine. Looking back at the ad, he was right, I guess I got carried away by the lot. He was a tough cookie, but as it turned out, we were both happy at the end. Regards, Lou

Nice, Lou.  What was the Millers Falls piece that made you buy the whole lot?  And the socket sets in the black metal case and the other in the green tray...are they complete?  What brand?
