Stanley marking gauge

Take a good look at this listed marking gauge and identify it for me.
I have an unmarked version.  It is similar but not exactly like my No. 77.
Note the side bar and the rivet.

I wish I could identify it, but can't.  I owned a similar marking gauge, but released it into the wild, because the brass slide had gotten bent, and fixing it wasn't worth my time.  I didn't keep details, although I had the broad impression that it might have been English.

My mystery gauge has two reinforcing bars, rather than the No. 77's moustache.  I sure would like to get the screw that holds the fence in place for my No. 77.  The screw is interchangeable with my mystery one.

Is there a No. 76?

My reprinted Stanley No. 110 catalog - not sure of year, but early - lists a No. 76, which is boxwood.  No drawing, so I don't know what it looked like.   I found a link that purports to show a Stanley 76, which does not resemble the one you posted above: http://thevalleywoodworker.blogspot.com/2015/03/marking-gauges.html.

It may be that I was unclear.
My gauge does match the one in the eBay pic.
And it does match the ones in the last 5 pictures on your link page.
Mine is in a very dense light colored wood.  Fruitwood.
For now, I will assume that the link is correct and that I have a No. 76.
That is the best we can do for now.
