I suspect a number of members will not know what this item does, but I bought it because of the fine box. As you can see, the entire kit is in mint condition, actually doesn't appear to be used.

I recognize taps, but am one of the members who doesn't know what that tool at the top of the second picture does.

Spark plug thread tap & reamer repair set?

That's what it is, the reamer will cut out four sizes of spark plug damaged holes and the taps will make the new threads. The taps are marked "ACE" but the reamer has no markings. Picked it up at a yard sale on the second day after all the tools had been sold. Guess no one wanted it.

What a great kit! I knew that it was common practice in earlier days to repair a stripped plug hole and use the next size larger plug, but I never imagined there were kits for that.
