new purposes for old "junk"
« on: November 17, 2011, 03:15:12 PM »
Hi guys,
Enough of us seem to have a passion about waste (I'll not EVEN get into how kids are raised..... what a shame.... I'm glad I was blessed with the folks I have--- don't tell them though, it might go to their heads!!!!!) ....
So, I think it would be great if persons shared what they do with random stuff (see the previous post).
Today, I was collecting random "loose" good light bulbs. They're always laying around because they don't have a good home. I tripped over an empty six pack..... PERFECT!!! I shoved the light bulbs in their, and hung them on one of my many dowel rods protruding from either of the staircase down to my shop.  It doesn't take me much to get excited!!!!!
Well, that's my tip of the day. Not much, but, I suppose we all have little random hints about stuff.  Love to keep a running tab of other persons good ideas!
cheers,
bird.

Good on you Bird.  I always like to hear about how that drated plastic can be reused and kept out of our landfills.  I'll use that one.

NOPE, I'm a coor's light junkie.  Used to love Guiness and such... but, budget doesn't allow it!  As of now, budget won't allow shit, I'm afraid.
