Junk shop stuff.   The wrenchs were cheap enough that I grabbed thejm.   Just wasnt much that did anything for me.   On the way out saw this tiny Stanley plane,  that looks to be stainless.   Blade hardly used,  any thoughts on special use?     Planes aren't my thing,  buy them to use,  they do seem to  follow me home frequently.

Maybe for a kid's toolkit.  Maybe a cheapo for people who think they need a plane for fine trimming.  Maybe an attempt at a modeler's plane, like the XActo planes, or a cheap version of the Stanley 101 (http://www.supertool.com/StanleyBG/stan12.htm#num101).  Regardless, it's not the rare Stanley No. 0.0023 trimming plane, worth $1,000 that we're all looking for.

I bet it's terrified of anything more substantial than balsa wood.

It may be a piece of junk, but maybe not.  Note the cutouts in the sides??

Hello, Could it be a Handyman Series? Are there any markings on the blade, or the sides? Regards, Lou

I have one of these too. They stay in nice condition due to the plating. I'm with Bill on the usage...they sure aren't very rugged.
