Trim planes at auction

Jim-C knows me as a guy that will collect anything, and yes, I also collect trim planes.  The nice thing about trim planes is the fact that most only have one piece of metal, the iron which will have many different shapes.  They are also marked with the name of the manufacturer (and often the name of the owner) stamped into the wood at the front of the plane.  So today at an auction there was a crate of trim planes in quite good condition.  All had good wedges and irons and not beat up or used up.  So when they finally got around to them and announced choice at $5.00 I raised my hand and no one else bid.  So I took the whole crate of 16 and here is a picture.

Pretty nice collection there, coolford!!  And it sounds like the price was right.  Did you get any with unusual profiles?

Yes, some good profiles, several sizes of convex and concave as well as couple with two on the same iron.
