unmarked saw set

This is a substantial saw set, well made with two adjustments and all it says on it is "Made in the USA."  Any idea who may have made it.

Might be an E C Stearns. I will look later to see if I have one here.

I would say that sure looks like it.  In my picture its hard to see the front adjustment, but it is there and overall the picture is a duplicate of the unmarked tool.

You,re welcome. I went to look for a Stearns, and found this one marked SIMONDS, instead.
