WHY IS IT SO HARD TO SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE??!?!?!?!

This is the only forum I've ever been on that requires you to fill out a cpatcha request for EVERY private message. I just had to cycle through 8 of them to finally get an image where what I saw was what they were looking for. What's the deal? I'm not blind and I'm tech savy compared to some of the older guys here....why is is so hard?
