I was reading a study in here and I have the missing link. I was just cleaning up and replacing parts. Who knew?

Those are Type 12 iterations.  They're relatively common.  I don't think I'd classify them as missing links.  If you got to the Type 4 ratchets in the study and saw the Patent Pending stamp, and then looked at your ratchets, I could see where you might have been confused. Keep going in the study.  Stop on the Type 12 narrative.  Thanks of checking out the Type Study.
