Went to auction this morning and bought the OVB 12 alligator and the Billings and Spenser adjustable. They were in flat with the other pieces in photos; OVB 12 alligator;Diamond Edge chisel; K & B tack puller (drop Forged Steel) photo 2 :1 inch no-name wood chisel;North Bros Yankee screwdriver Pat Nov 2,1897 and Jan 22,1901 Works like a new one;Billings and Spencer adjustable pat Feb 18,1879. There were several other pieces in flat but they didn't make photo shoot. Nice way to spend an hour and $4.
Also at a breakfast meeting earlier a friend showed me 5 wrenchs and asked about their origin. I coudn't help him but maybe someone on forum can. They were stamped oew wrenchs similar to the 1thru 5 series we see often. These were numbered 3 thru 7 (assuming 1 and 2 missing). Don't know if this series goes beyond 7.Back side stamped (Moore Tool Co Fairmont,Mn) Didn't get photo as no camera at breakfast but guess them about 5in long and 3/16-1/4 thick. Anybody know this co. Dogpile didn't turn anything up.
