My "new to me" Snap-On roll-away!

Well, after reading Fatfillup posts about all the Snap-On boxes he has sold, maybe he will help me on this used one I just bought in route to a flea market.
It is a GREEN KRA4107BPJA,,,s/n G07245C.
7 drawer, 40 inches wide, 20" deep, 39" high.
All drawers have useable liners.

The bottom drawer slides need replacing, and has the new sliders in there, for someone to do it.
I oiled the slides and it helped it a lot.

It rolls quietly, evenly, and is a heavy sucker, but I "adapted, improvised, and overcame" it and got it up the 2 steps into my shop.

It needs a key!!! The number K689 is etched on the front of it.
The tools on the top came with the box.
All tools are made in USA, mainly Snap-On, and also Cornwell, Matco and MAC.
The Utica torque wrench is hex-head, inch pounds, and new is 186 Dollars. perfect shape.
The very old Craftsman 3/8"ratchet is a =V= date code. I just went thru it and it is a-ok.
Also a Cornwell TR-3 1/4in ratchet was included, and I am going to re-build it as soon as parts arrive from Cornwell.

Don't know how old the box is, but it has had a rough prior owner. I think I can fix what is needed.
Now the question ALL WANT to know,,,, is did I make a good deal or not.
I checked Snap-On's website and a new one is priced at 2600 dollars, plus tax, and freight to get it here. That would be close to 3000 bucks.

All the tools and a Vintage hand Proto tool box in super shape with decals,, was  included.

Cash paid and loaded on my pick-up was 400 dollars. Yep,,,400. The tools alone off the truck would be close to that,,, or more.
Maybe FATFILLUP or others will know how I can get a key or two?.
Any suggestions on it will be helpful getting it in top shape.Here are the photos:

Congrats on your new purchase! It sure is green. I see green hard handled tools in your 2012 future.

Snap on can get you the key with the key number.

It is possible a locksmith can make the key from that number as well.

  I never had a box than nice in my life!
   No matter what anyone else thinks, or has access to in their neighborhood, a box like that is rare in many places (sure would be around here)
  and would command instant attention!

And the tools?? OK I just hate you. heeheheheheheeheheh

It's not that old either, the last patent on the label is for the drawer slides, dated 1999

Most of the green boxes go to the industrial guys, so you don't see them anywhere as often as the red boxes. And I like that you still have the paint code on the box ...

Just tell the local Snap-on truck you have a new *empty* tool box, he will probably give you a key so you can fill it from his truck ;;PP

If you watch Ebay they have been putting numbered key's on there lately. The Snap On rep can also get the key. That's a nice find.

Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!  Great deal.  And a real box.  I'm still using a Snappy that I bought in the late '70's.  Hope you get that kind of service.
