After selling an ebayer a CB-45 ratchet and mis-typing it in the ad as a CB-46, the buyer has been very patient with me for the mis representation.  I didn't know the difference between the two, but I'm just trying to help him out.  Anyone know of a source for Husky rebuild kits?  I've forwarded Bonneyman's Idaho Tool Co. source, but that was for Bonney stuff..  Any chance the CB-45 and CB-46 parts interchange?

TIA

Both were made by New Britain, so parts from matching NB ratchets should fit.

However, the 46 is a quick release ratchet, and the 45 isn't, so I doubt the guts interchange. There are apparently Sparta branded versions of the 46 also, so parts from one of those may fit.

Rebuild kits for ratchets made in the 60's are problematic....
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

I have a Sparta 3/8 drive I picked up recently - if that might help you (pictures, parts, ratchet, etc).

I can forward the info to the buyer, unless he's already joined the group.

Thanks
