please help with Old Craftsman 14" Wrench

 There are cast letters and symbol i can't identify.  After the 'Guaranteed' cast are '  A . S ' then a circled 'T'.  It does have the 'Boxed X'  on the that side preceded by a what looks like a '4' ..  It also looks like it was painted a deep gray.Any help appreciated...
