Bought This Wrench Friday for $3: Can You Identify?

I have never seen one like it so I got it. I thought maybe it was intended to get the hub cover off wood-wheel auto hubs from the early 20th century. If anyone knows anythign about it I would like to hear from you.

Very few times were pentagonal wrenches for anything but fire hydrants.

The curved end with the openings is for the lug on fire hose couplings; the pentagon is for the valve shaft in the hydrant, and the octagon is for the cover cap on the threaded outlet.   The trick is to find the brand of fire hydrant that had that size of octagonal cover caps.
