Look what followed me home today
« on: May 19, 2012, 01:04:03 PM »
This is the group of items that followed me home today from Jacktown. (www.Jacktown.org) Jacktown is the show grounds for the Blue Mountain Antique Gas and Steam Engine Association. They are having their spring meet this weekend.

From Left to Right
Aluminum axe, well no it is a door stop, George Washington Door Stop by Newton MFG Co Newton Iowa.
The best little hammer I ever saw or owned. My guess it is a jewelers hammer. Might even be a boxwood handle.
Snap-on Tools USA Vacuum Grip No5 pliers, 4 5/8 inches long, pebble grips and serrated jaws.
Proto 704, 4 inch adjustable, M F D. U. S. A. Z87
IREGA No77-4" Alloy Steel Forged, Made in Spain

All for less the $20.

Wow!! That really is a great hammer!! And I'm with you. It looks like boxwood to me too!!
dynamite

The utility tool (ax hammer puller) is unusual in that most all I see are beat to absolute death warmed over.
  nice score too
 yours Scott

Common or not, I recently had a pair that sold well.
