The wrench gods smiled at me today
« on: June 06, 2012, 04:01:40 PM »
I bought these on ebay because they looked pretty nice and the price was OK.  I opened the envelope and the condition just blew me away. I have never seen early craftsman with good plating before and an almost complete set at that. The smallest one is missing , but I had one.

Wow...I guess...I didn't even know those were plated. All the ones I've seen are rust...

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

I'm very envious, John! I've wanted a set like that for years; I can't hope to find a set in that condition!

Very good condition there, as others said usually there rust when I see them.
