Runs just fine, but likely not real old as it is half plastic.  Traded my son even up for a US made Dewalt.  We both thought we got the better end of the deal  lol.  Chuck is a little stiff as you get the the smaller clamping area, but it may just need some movement. Some uncle of a neighbor gave him the drill.  The variable speed trigger will also meed some massaging, but it's quiet and no sparks on the armature, or really small ones anyway....

Does anyone have a guess on the manufacturing date of this drill?  I'm thinking maybe early 70's???

TIA

I want to say the person with the Powerkraft got the better deal.  One can still buy a Dewalt - I've had 6 in 10 years - 4 now broken in one fashion or another.

Oily:  I'm becoming a bigge fan of keyed chucks as the years go on,  that's for sure.

I found a cool 10" long Drift with WIZARD stamped on it in a box of stuff..  It will travel with the rest of the stuff eventually.

I would concur, early to mid 70s

Thanks, I've got no catalogs for reference.  Need to find a stash of them at an auction sometime....
