Probably uses a good phosphate detergent to get his clothes nice and shiny clean too. Ever see what that stuff does to the pipes?

I've noticed that, systems around here at least, are being spec'd with much larger sediment tanks than they used to be, I suppose the sanitary engineers finally dedcided to take human  nature into account.....
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Hooray for happy endings!
It must have been soft(ish) sludge.

I had a drain line from my kitchen........
30' long, a straight run down an interior wall.
It had something resembling a #2 pencil led hole down the middle.
The rest of hard as a brick!! Solid plugged end to end.

I took it out and left it in the sun for 6 months,
and then ---slowly-- drilled most of it out with a very stiff powered auger after I had cut it into short lengths.

It became the legs for my vise stand.
