Hi, my name is Jock and I live in western Oregon.  I've been fixing things all my life and have been interested in tools as long as I can remember.  I'm not a collector, but a user.  I do pick up interesting pieces at times, but enjoy just looking at unusual items.

Welcome to Tool Talk!
Your Hawkeye wrench is something I have seen, but can't find the reference yet. I'm at work, so no books here.

Welcome, from Nebraska.  Fixing stuff eh?   I've done it too, but only for 45 years or so.   Be careful of them old tools, we're trolling the waters of the imaginations of many generations before us, and some of them had some pretty great ideas.  Suddenly you have a wall of wall hangers, then a toolbox, then another, get the picture!

welcome from Nelson County, VA.  The best collectors are those that ARE users!  You know how a tool feels, what it should accomplish, and the best way to accomplish the task at hand.
cheers,
bird.
