My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

Those look like an early medical tool, a clamp?  If so they may be on the rare side, but, wow.

Probably a little rare, but, I think the sellr is a bit confused.
Henry F Jenks is both the fellows name, and the name of his company. Jenks made, among other things, textile machinery, and (Owen F.) Garvey invented parts for textile machines.....

I suspect it is a tool for pulling thread through the ring on a twisting frame.

Hmph. You'd think for 32 grand it would at least come with all the accessory tips...

Interesting tool But WOW also
If I had of seen these at a market last week not knowing anything about Jenks or Garvey and the seller had $30 on them I would have walked past! It Would be interesting to know what others  here would have payed?   BTW John K, I was thinking medical also.
This week well I might go to $70.00 maybe??
EXTREME EBay seller's optimism showing here I think. Maybe only the great great Grandson of either gentleman (assuming he's inherited the family fortune) would be interested at that price!

What else do you want.

They should ship you a free workshop at this price ;P

Hmm

I wonder if these are where the term 'needle nose' came from?

This guy should quit selling on ebay and start writing fairy tales.  He has a good start already.
