We are watching the Hurricane news pretty closely today, and just saw this on GJ.
I believe there is a number of members that watched the Space Race from the beginings in the late 50's and 60's.
As a child in Florida in the 60's, rocket launches were a big deal. I was in 8th grade when he landed on the moon.

He will be missed greatly, the true symbol of the Space race.

An icon has passed away, that's for sure.

I was really saddened to hear the news of his passing this morning. If ever a man should deserve immortality, it would be Neil Armstrong. RIP sir.
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

A true American Icon, he will be missed. Godspeed Neil!

He is a person worth remembering. Not to sound cheezy, but that was a man that had a dream an actually achieved it.
Cheers to him,
